And, suddenly, 3 glorious weeks were over....how quickly they went.
Maxine, amazingly, woke up at 6am South African time every morning (5am UK time!)....sometimes it caught up with her!

Even Myrrill and Rolo the Bear had a blast!
So it's time to bid you farewell.
Thank you for allowing me to share all our wonderful memories.
Our first visit in five years, and we fell in love all over again with our beautiful home country.
There is nothing that compares to South Africa or it's people, and I am fiercely proud to be South African.
We arrived back in England with very heavy hearts, I have to say, and it took several weeks to settle back in England. I can honestly say if it wasn't for my mom being here and unable to move, and Maxine requiring Special Education, we would have been on our way back home, giving up everything - that is how strong the pull is, even after thirteen and a half years.
But that's a story for another day.....
