Maxine turned 13 in August 2014........where has the time gone?!!
Maxine had asked for a 'Frozen' themed cake.........we had a local baker assist.
Instead of having a birthday party, we decided to have a surprise holiday for Maxine - a weekend away with a private hot tub......the girl was in her element!
It was a short weekend break, but reminded us how appealing a small open-planned home can be.
And how simple things can be....no large house needed.....just the three of us.
