This was Trev's first race for UK Sprint Cars, and a beautiful sunny weekend.
Trev in his car, with Martin by his side. Martin works with Trev's dad and has volunteered a huge amount of his time to help Trev in building this car, as well as track side. It's been lovely to watch their friendship grow.

The number 58 is special in that Trev has always raced cars with the number '8'.
So we chose '58' as it's Maxine's birth date.
Trev almost didn't go because he had been signed off from work as he'd had an operation the day after I'd arrived home from Malaysia in April. I encouraged him to race as it shouldn't make a difference what a person does in their spare time if they've been signed off sick from work. Legally it shouldn't.
However it did give his employers the opportunity to make false allegations against him, and ultimately get rid of him a few months later.
